Christine Wyns, female, obtained Doctor in Medicine degree from the Catholic University of Louvain; Brussels, in 1993. Graduate in Gynecology from the Catholic University of Louvain, applied Andrology from the University of Limoges, and Health and Biomedical Sciences from the Catholic University of Louvain. Thesis on «Male fertility preservation after gonadotoxic treatment».
Currently Head of the Department of Gynecology and Andrology, Director of the Reproductive Tissue and Cell Bank at Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc, Brussels, Belgium, Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain, and Head of the research lab in Andrology with special focus on fertility preservation for prepubertal boys.
Chair of the European IVF monitoring (EIM) steering committee-ESHRE, Past-President and current Vice-President of the National College of Physicians in Reproductive Medicine.
Over 100 articles in medical journals and medical books.
